The young performers on the Gold Coast, were recently treated to the ultimate in workshops launched by the creative directors of "Flyworx Entertainment" to give students an opportunity to work with two of Australia's most well-known experts from the film, dance, stunt and aerial industry: Keir Beck and Tammy Zarb. Students travelled from interstate and delivered a wealth of creative styles in Harness (Fly-By-Wire), various aerial arts and dance. Ap8 Stunt and Rigging Venue and home to the "WHAT" was the location for this wonderful event.
Working in the entertainment industry as always had its highlights, this is no different. "WHAT" Creative Directors Tammy Zarb and Keir Beck have branched out globally, and we are proud to announce that Dreya Weber will be joining the "WHAT" creative team on the Gold Coast on Oct 11th and 12th, 2014. The Village Road Show Studio's is the choice of venues when hosting such a large scale intensive. For 2 days artists will be pouring in from around the country to work with and in front of this very creative team.
An acclaimed actress, musician, aerialist and choreographer, Dreya Weber headlined in "Teatro ZinZanni’s", Hail Caesar! as “Cleo” and Gangsters Of Love as “Myrna Malloy”. She produced and stars in feature films A Marine Story and The Gymnast, collectively honored with 48 festival awards including seven ‘best actress’ nods. As Aerial Choreographer, Dreya conceived Pink’s celebrated 2014 and 2010 Grammy performances of "Try" and "Glitter in the Air" deemed “Transcendent” by Oprah Winfrey. Choreographic credits include Michael Jackson, Cher, Madonna, Taylor Swift, Britney Spears, Katy Perry, Kylie Minogue, Rihanna, Christina Aguilera and Pink. Dreya starred as the Genie in "Caesar’s Palazzo" in Amsterdam. Writing credits include Club Seduce, Gangsters Of Love and lyrics for both. Her directorial work can be seen in Frank Ferrante's "Evening with Groucho" at the ACT Theater this summer. www.dreyaweber.com
